Nine years ago we were two people who kept ending up in the same room. We are not going to pretend it was fate. It was persistence, and a great deal of coffee. What we would like now is one long evening in a garden with everyone who put up with us along the way.

Mezze from the garden
Labneh with wild thyme, warm bread off the saj, olives from the trees you are sitting under.
The main
Lamb ouzi, or sea bass in salt
Slow-cooked lamb over saffron rice and toasted almonds. Or a whole sea bass baked in salt with lemon.
To finish
Rose and pistachio
Ma’amoul, ashta with orange blossom, and coffee with cardamom until you have had enough.
Tell us in the RSVP if you cannot eat something. We will sort it.
Garden formal
Women
A long dress. Flat or block heels — there is grass.
Men
A suit. The tie is up to you.

White is the bride’s, please.
You being there is the gift. If you would still like to give something, we are saving for the first year of the flat — and this is the easiest way.
If your invitation says two names, yes. If it says one, we would love it to stay that way — the garden only holds so many.
Ours are, and so are yours. There is a room with someone watching them from nine o’clock.
On site, free, and there is a valet from half five.
Everywhere except during the ceremony. Those twenty minutes are just for looking.
1 April 2027, so the kitchen knows. Sooner is kinder.
